Dr. Egan is in session

So I have always enjoyed being an amateur shrink with my friends. Here's my offer to my adoring fans and newcomers. Ask me anything and I will give you honest feedback to whatever it is you want to know. It can be something as mundane as should I finance or lease a car or something about a boyfriend, spouse, family member, etc. I am here to provide that sort of service. It can be anonymous or not. I am here to offer an opinion, some insight, or perhaps to just give a listen. If you feel your issue is of a more sensative nature we can always take the discussion offline.

I have always been very candid with my friends, family, and co-workers and thought I would offer free advice. I have benefited greatly from surrounding myself with very honest and giving people. I feel it is the right thing to do, as Wilfred Brimley would say. Have a great day!

New career objective

Today I finally got some much needed career inspiration. I have decided to become an actor for cheesy HR videos or instructional videos. At work today we were forced to watch role playing videos about consultative selling. The actors in these videos must lead interesting lives. I imagine they tell their friends & family that they are actors, but it must be a tough sell, no pun intended. "Egan, your role in that HR video, Inappropriate Touch, was awesome". I can just hear the kudos years from now when some big corporation decides to buy the videos. Okay, I haven't actually starred in this kind of video yet, but I imagine this is where most actors start before landing a gig on UPN and/or making an appearance as the upper right square on Hollywood (Hasbeen/Nobody) Squares.

Now that I have figured out my new direction, I will just have to hold off on opening my very own dessert store in West Seattle. Until then, please eat lots of cake at Simply Desserts in Fremont. Tell the owners, Phil & Stacy, I say hello.
